A new sector-wide initiative is calling for renewed UK participation in the EU’s Creative Europe programme from 2027.
The petition, launched by the Forum on EU‑UK Cultural & Media Relations with European Movement UK, urges the UK Government to formally declare its interest in rejoining the programme.

The petition advocates for the reopening of cultural cooperation pathways between the UK and the EU through full participation in Creative Europe, a key driver of artistic collaboration across borders.
Renewed UK involvement would restore opportunities for mobility, co‑creation, and long-term partnerships between UK and EU cultural actors.
