Advocating for Dance

EDN members are invited to register for the network’s General Assembly & Think-in, hosted by Lavanderia a Vapore on 3 & 4 June 2025, in Collegno (Turin), Italy.

This gathering serves as a dynamic space for exchange, advocacy, and artistic reflection, bringing together cultural workers, artists, and policymakers to explore new forms of governance, accessibility, and embodied knowledge.

EDN’s Advocacy Programme is facilitated by the EU network funding and seeks to counter the fragmentation of the dance sector while addressing its challenges.

Through this initiative, EDN supports the sector’s transformations and works to foster equitable working conditions and sustainable structures for dance guided by contemporary artistic practices.

How to Attend

Registrations are currently open to EDN member representatives.

EDN will book and cover 2 nights of accommodation or up to 4 nights for board members, reimburse a travel bursary of 300€ and 2 days of per diems at 40€ per day for one representative per EDN member organisation.

To cover additional costs of your slow or low-impact travel, you can apply for a top-up from our Green Travel Programme.

To offset additional access needs, you can apply for a top-up from our Accessibility Travel Programme.

Note that the General Assembly is co-funded by the members. The participation fee of 300€ for the representative will be invoiced to your organisation.

Registrations are open until 18 March 2025

Note that we cannot guarantee accommodation for registrations after this date. You can go ahead and book your travel as soon as possible since prices are rising quickly.
