International research and case studies from Aerowaves partners

The platform Aerowaves and audience development expert Heather Maitland have compiled an Audience Development toolkit to give practical guidance to dance organisations, using international research and case studies from Aerowaves partners.

'Audience Development comes naturally to most arts organisations but they all do it differently. That’s because it’s not a to-do list of projects and schemes but a way of thinking about what you do that puts audiences at the centre.' Heather Maitland

From audience research plans to evaluation, this toolkit will help you articulate what you do and why you do it by giving you everything you need to draft a long-term vision on how to engage new audiences, sometimes with limited time and money.

Find the toolkit on aerowaves.org.
