#DanceAndWellBeing
Nov 2020 - Feb 2021

Amid the second lockdown, attempting to curb the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, we long to keep dancing. Reintroducing restrictions in practicing, rehearsing and presenting dance across Europe represents yet another blow to the dance sector.

Dance artists, organisations, and independent professionals are fighting to survive the crisis and one thing is certain: there will be a long road to recovery for everyone contributing to the dance ecosystem.

#DanceAndWellBeing campaign, iniated by EDN and its members wants to reaffirm the essential role of dance in our societies and in maintaining our physical and mental wellbeing.

With weekly online dance classes led by EDN members associated artists we open the space to everyone, not just dancers. Participation on dance classes via Zoom is free of charge and no prior dancing skills are required. Dance classes will take place from November 2020 to February 2021.
