2023

APAP|NYC+ 2023 is the gathering of the performing arts presenting, booking and touring industry and the annual members conference of the Association of Performing Arts Professionals. The 2023 edition will be held in New York, USA between 13 – 17 January 2023. More information here.

tanzhaus nrw invites international community to attend high-energy, boundary-crossing, and hypnotic choreographies, to shared rave experiences and a sound séance with a focus on the body, between supportive community and capitalist isolation. Festival Raving Choreographies will take place between 3 and 26 February 2023. More information here.

What Next Dance Festival, organised by the EDN member Dance Limerick, will take place from 8 to 11 February 2023 in Limerick, Ireland. More information here.

Eleventh edition of Gibanica - Biennial of Slovenian Contemporary Dance Art will be held in Ljubljana between 22 – 25 February 2023. More information here.

Next Festival, an initiative of Trafó House of Contemporary Arts, Budapest, will present the upcoming new generations of artist, with their small, interesting, challenging and engaging little pieces, let them be text or movement based. From 1-4 March 2023.

EDN member Le Gymnase CDCN is one of the organisers and creators of the 2023 edition of the Le Grand Bain festival, which will take place from 7 to 31 March 2023. More information here.

In March 2023, la briqueterie will be rolling out the 22nd edition of its dance biennial Biennale de danse du val de Marne. More information here.

The Czech Dance Platform will take place between 30 March and 2 April 2023. Currently the platform is accepting proposals to be presented during the 2023 edition with a deadline to submit works set to 20 December 2022. More information here.

Aerowaves Spring Forward will take place in Dublin, Ireland between 27 – 29 April 2023. In 2023, Aerowaves is working with a combination of local venues to co-produce Spring Forward, including Project Arts Centre, Smock Alley Theatre, The Complex and Samuel Beckett Theatre. More information here.

Black British Dance Platform, a colloboration between Serendipity Institute for Black Arts and Heritage and FABRIC, will take place on 3 May 2023. More information here.

Join artists from all over the world and from Belgium at the Kunstenfestivaldesarts in Brussels from 11 May to 3 June 2023. More information here.

Camping is a festival and an international platform for workshops and performances, a unique experience offering encounters with artists from the international choreographic scene while open to other artistic fields. The 2023 edition of artistic space where all the poetic experiences of dance, theatre, performance and visual arts can find expression, will take place 19-30 June 2023 at Pantin and Lyon. ImPulsTanz – Vienna International Dance Festival will take place from 7 July to 6 August 2023. More information here.

B.Motion Danza, as part of the B.Motion 2023 festival, will take place in Bassano del Grappa from 17 to 20 August 2023. More information about the festival will soon be available here.

Biannual showcase festival Young Dance Market, held in Malmö, Sweden from 30 – 31 August 2023, will present dance productions for young audiences. More information here.

The revival of the originally biannual dunaPart, to present the most interesting productions and initiatives from the independent theatre and dance field from Hungary, will take place between 23-25 November 2023.

2024

Baltic Dance Platform will take place in Riga, Latvia from February 9 to 11 2024. Details will soon be available here.

The upcoming ICE HOT Platform will take place at EDN member Dansens Hus Oslo in 2024, more specifically from 14-18 February. More information here.

The next edition of Tanzplattform Deutschland will be hosted by Theater Freiburg in February 2024. Independent jury is already looking into works created between September 2021 and September 2023. More information here.

You can save the date for new edition of the Swiss Dance Days, taking place in Zurich from 28 February to 3 March 2024. More information here.

International Tanzmesse nrw will take place between 28 – 31 August 2024, while you can already book your exhibition space and send proposals for the artistic programme in May 2023. More information here.

Perform Europe's Documentary Published

The documentary was shot in June 2022 during the Perform Europe’s Impact Event.

With contributions from 19 Perform Europe's partnerships, consortium and jury members, the consortium consisted of IETM - International network for contemporary performing arts, the European Festivals Association (EFA), Circostrada Network, European Dancehouse Network and IDEA Consult created the Perform Europe’s Documentary, which aims to reflect and unravel the impact that taking part in the Perform Europe pilot had on the partnerships and the communities to which they toured, as well as look behind the scenes at the Perform Europe journey and selection process.
