Would you like to lead the important work of strengthening dance as an art form and increasing the audience for dance?

Norway’s national dance stage, Dansens Hus in Oslo, is seeking its next artistic director to lead the organization for a four-year fixed term starting in spring 2024.

Dansens Hus shall be an artistic spearhead, an open and future-oriented hothouse for a diversity of artists and audiences. The right candidate for this role has a strong interest in the dance institution's societal role, mandate, and significance, high ambitions for the development of dance art, and a clear vision for Dansens Hus.

As Artistic Director, you must be able to set a clear direction and have a desire to actively engage in the broader dance scene and beyond to elevate Dansens Hus both as a significant societal actor and an attractive collaborator. You wish to contribute to the development of Dansens Hus as an open and inclusive venue for the whole dance community and for a diverse dance audience.

At the same time, you aim to develop Dansens Hus as an organization and workplace in collaboration with the dedicated and competent staff.
