The new reality that the global artistic community has woken up to has admittedly generated a wave of solidarity within our sector. Nevertheless, it goes without saying that it is now the responsibility of national governments to rescue arts and culture. We therefore call on them to take a series of measures to safeguard the long-term viability of the sector. Read our plea and share it widely.

On IETM you will be able to download the plea in PDF in the following languages: English, French, Spanish, Italian, German and Icelandic.

This plea has been written by IETM and co-signed by Circostrada Network, European Dancehouse Network, European Theatre Convention, In Situ - European Platform for Artistic Creation in Public Space and European Festival Association (EFA).

Curating in Context

Resources from the International Summer School

Over the course of the summer, EDN member Lokomotiva (North Macedonia) conducted the first edition of its International Summer School. We highly recommend diving in the resources made available online by Lokomotiva to reflect on contemporary practices of performing arts in relation to activism, social movements and self-organization.
