In contemporary dance, it is rare to have the opportunity to work on a topic in depth over a long period of time. This is why K3 offers eight-month residencies for up-and-coming choreographers, the new pieces are then premiered in March during the Festival TanzHochDrei at Kampnagel in Hamburg. This year's themes range from melodrama to knitting and northern German moorland landscapes to Persian dances.

During the TanzHochDrei Festival, Yolanda Morales, Meghna Bhardwaj and Bruno Brandolino present the dance pieces that they have been developing since August. You can catch all three world premieres in a single weekend. Saturday 23 March is the professionals' day where presenters can attend all three pieces consecutively, including a showing by Sina Saberi. He is the fourth choreographer in residence at K3 and will premiere his show in May.
