The internationale tanzmesse nrw – fair & festival could not take place as planned from 26-30 August 2020. Due to the measurements taken by the German federal and state governments to contain the COVID-19 pandemic (updated 4 May 2020), no large events and festivals are allowed to take place in Germany before 31 August 2020.

The organisers however brought the international dance community together online, as it is crucial to stand in solidarity in times where venues are closed.
