EDN aims to provide entry, and to analyse the development of the dance sector in Europe.
By organising information workshop with stakeholders and policy-makers, mapping the field with projects like A Hundred or on a more local level in Greece, EDN provides insights in the development of the field. We also work with experts to bring out lectures and presentations on national and/or European dimensions - such as the presentation by Delphine Hesters, Head of Performing Arts at Flanders Arts Institute in 2016, or the lecture by Rok Vevar about the Slovenian Dance History in the 20st century in 2019.
Furthermore, EDN collects and analyses data to feed a larger review of the sector - to be published by 2021.
