D.A.N.C.E™

Dance. Artists. Network. Conference. Encounter

AREAL | Space for choreographic development and the Center for Projects Timișoara hosted a two-days international conference exploring the relationship between dance, burnout, equity, care and well-being.

"Dancing from Burnout towards Equity"

Taking place between June 29-30 2023, in Timișoara, the conference welcomed dance makers, cultural managers, and representatives of dance organisations in Europe or abroad to co-create a space for conversation, exchange and networking around relevant post-pandemic topics.

The participants had the chance to explore the vibrant city of Timișoara and discover the Romanian contemporary dance scene through a dense programme of presentations, talks, new performances and premieres, video projections and free dance sessions.

The DANCE™ conference - Dance. Audience. Network. Care. Encounter - is part of the national cultural programme "Timișoara - European Capital of Culture in the year 2023" and is funded by the City of Timișoara through the Center for Projects. An event part of the AREAL - space for cultural development, program co-funded by the Administration of the National Cultural Fund.
