The application committee has unanimously confirmed Lisa Reinheimer as the new director of Dansateliers. Lisa Reinheimer, who is currently artistic coordinator at EDN member DansBrabant in Tilburg, will take the baton on 14 November 2022, 2022. Current director Kristin de Groot will work with her until January 1, 2023, to ensure a careful handover.

Kristin de Groot and her team have successfully positioned Dansateliers as a springboard for many outspoken dance artists. During these eleven years, a solid organization has been built, where a curious and inquisitive mind is always the starting point. Furthermore, Dansateliers has succeeded in creating space for research by co-initiating several EU-funded projects in fruitful partnerships.

"I am very happy and excited to take a step towards more responsibility in my new role as director of Dansateliers. I look forward to sustaining the inquisitive and curious spirit of Dansateliers, include a variety of artistic voices, collaborate in reciprocity, keep the warm and personal working relationships and guarantee a safe harbor in which artists can experiment to find their own path. At the same time, I will share my own knowledge, skills and interests and develop new ideas for Dansateliers to move forward." says Lisa Reinheimer.
