Europe Beyond Access is the biggest trans-national project in the world supporting disabled and Deaf artists to mainstream disability on and off stage.
Artist Commissions and Public Presentations
The project supports disabled artists to make and tour new dance and theatre works. It also presents works that are already made and which are touring across Europe.
Artistic Exchanges
The programme includes artistic laboratories in which artists from different countries come together to exchange ideas and learn new skills. The project also facilitates artistic residencies for artists who are seeking to develop a specific artistic idea.
Audience Development and Engagement
Europe Beyond Access develops widespread public interest in disability-led performing arts, as well as increasing access to the arts for disabled audiences.
Capacity Building & Advocacy
Europe Beyond Access builds the capacity of two key groups of arts professionals at either end of the cultural market. It provides training opportunities, toolkits, reports, and conferences.
Project Partners
Europe Beyond Access is created with support from the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union.
