The European Dancehouse Network announces its annual online conference titled "How Can We Move? Ecological Perspectives on Contemporary Dance" to be held on 14 November 2022 between 10:00 and 13:00 CET. More information and registration link is available here, register by 10 November.
The conference will bring together conversations, thoughts, and actions around the theme of ecological sustainability. Artists, cultural practitioners, academics, and local and international policy makers from within and outside the network and the sector are invited to address burning issues for the sector and for society and culture more broadly. During the conference, the EDN will share findings and recommendations with the presentation of EDN's upcoming publication, "Environmental Sustainability in Contemporary Dance: Emerging Issues, Practices and Recommendations."
The conference is also part of the EDNext Sustainability Campaign that presents concrete actions and ideas to engage the contemporary dance sector in Europe, its advocates, funders and stakeholders, in a shared movement towards a sustainable future.
