Dance Platforms and Showcases
International dance platforms and choreographic showcases in Europe you might not want to miss.
MoreEDN is an associated partner in EFFEA - an initiative of the European Festivals Association, supporting career development of emerging artists.
The European Festivals Fund for Emerging Artists empowers festivals and offers emerging artists a platform to establish themselves on the international stage.
EFFEA extends an open invitation to festivals to collaborate across borders and build a supportive network dedicated to nurturing the success of emerging artists.
Who can benefit from this fund?
Festivals
Festivals can expand their professional network, collaborate with peers, discover new programmes and new artists, and provide financial support to promote the work of emerging artists at a European level.
Emerging Artists
Artists, who are invited by the festivals, will be provided with time and space to develop ideas, access a network of programmers and local artists in different countries, attend residencies, seminars and workshops, gain European visibility, build capacity and access new contexts to present their work.
Audiences
As a result of this exchange, audiences will discover new talents and repertoire and gain access to diverse and interdisciplinary works all over Europe.
Open Call
The European Festivals Fund for Emerging Artists (EFFEA) is back with its fourth call, running from 1 September to 3 November 2025.
The fund will support around 50 residencies in 2026, giving at least 50 emerging artists the chance to work closely with 150 festivals across Europe and beyond.
