After four-years-and-a-half of development, modul-dance came to its end in 2015. Twenty dancehouses from sixteen countries had the chance to cooperate in a project with the aim to support development, mobility and exchange among dance artists under the umbrella of the European Dancehouse Network.
This publication presents the outcomes of the project together with reflections from dance artists and practitioners on mobility in Europe.
Modul-dance was a four-and-a-half-year cooperation project that involved twenty European dancehouses from sixteen countries. Led by Mercat de les Flors in Barcelona it lasted from June 2010 to December 2014. Its main goal was to support development, mobility and exchange for dance artists.
In the project final book Modul-dance partners worked to collect, as plural as possible, testimonials by partners and artists participating while addressing many of the key issues that were part and parcel of the project: mobility, community, cooperation, sharing and sustainability at the European level.
