MoreCan a Nordic-Baltic touring network be established? What would be a functioning model for it? These questions were assessed by the keðja partners in 2012-2014. This report presents the main outcomes of the exchanges.
The keðja Think Tanks were activities where a certain theme or topic is discussed and elaborated by leaders and professionals from different fields and with different viewpoints.
The Think Tanks gathered competent people within the sector asking them to analyze different relevant issues and come up with concrete action plans to develop the infrastructure of the dance field. These gatherings took place between 2012 and 2014.
The Nordic and Baltic countries have different kinds of national touring activities for performing arts, but the area is lacking a joint touring network for dance, that would encompass the whole Nordic-Baltic region. The value and need of such a network has been discussed for a long time.
The goal of the keðja Touring Think Tank has been to find out, whether a Nordic-Baltic touring network can be established and develop a functioning model for it.
