EDN Think-In & General Assembly in Barcelona

EDN colleagues will finally have the opportunity to meet in person during the General Assembly & Think-In in Barcelona between 28-29 June. Hosted by Mercat de les Flors, our gathering will take place in sunny Barcelona with a wonderful side-program that will inspire our meetings and discussions, such as a guided walk to The Fundació Miró, and a visit to Graner Centre for Creation of Dance and Performing Arts to attend an open rehearsal and meet with the artist in residence. Our meeting will conclude with the opening of the festival Grec 2022. The General Assembly - held on June 28 - will focus on the election of new president and members of the board, as well as on future network membership. The Think-In strategic planning meeting - held on June 29 - will focus on EDN’s next steps in 2022: research, advocacy & campaign in connection to the current theme “Sustainability”, as well as the 2023 programme with the upcoming theme “Equity”.

Registration

Registrations were open for EDN member representatives to attend the Think-In meeting with the General Assembly in Barcelona, hosted by Mercat de les Flors. EDN covered 2 nights of accommodation (28 – 30 June), and reimbursed up to 300€ worth of travel costs and 3 days of per-diems at 30€ per day.

Participation fee of 300€ per attending person was invoiced to the dancehouse. The participation fee covered travel support, accommodation, and catering.

EDN members were invited to apply for the EDN Travel Bursaries Open Call.
